[ Act No. 328, January 08, 1902 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN, ESTABLISHING AND REGULATING ACCOUNTABILITY FOR PUBLIC PROPERTY IN THE PHILIPPINE ARCHIPELAGO.

By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the
United States Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Act Numbered Two hundred and fifteen is hereby
amended so that section two shall read as follows:

"SEC. 2. Every officer or agent accountable for civil
property Quarterly returns. shall make returns of the same to the Auditor for
the Archipelago, in such manner as may be prescribed, quarterly as of the
thirty-first day nf March, the thirtieth day of June, the thirtieth day of
September, niul the thirty-first day of December of each year: Provided,
however. That officers accountable for Constabulary sales stores shall make
returns of the same monthly and within ten days after the close of the period
for which rendered."

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of
this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with
section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in
the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
