RATIONALIZING THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CABINET OFFICERS FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CORD)

Directing all cabinet members, heads of offices and ambassadors, to continue, in a hold-over capacity, to perform their duties and responsibilities.

Directing all cabinet members and heads of government-owned and controlled corporations to actively participate in the celebration of the Peace Conciousness Month this September 2006.

Enjoining all Cabinet members , Presidential Advisers and Heads of Executive Offices to participate in the opening celebration of the National Week for Overcoming Extreme Poverty on October 17, 2007.

Enjoining all cabinet members and heads of government-owned and controlled corporations to observe the International Humanitarian Law Day on August 12, 2008 and actively support and participate in the conduct of activities relative thereto.

Directing the Cabinet to implement pro-poor programs in all regions.

Directing all cabinet members and heads of their attached agencies including Government Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), Government Financial Institutions (GFIs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and Local Government Units (LGUs) to actively participate in the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) Summit.
