AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THREE MILLION ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE PESOS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTAVOS TO ENABLE THE BUREAU OF POSTS TO PAY THE BALANCE OF ITS OUTSTANDING OBLIGATION TO THE PHILIPPINE AIR LINES, INC., FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE LATTER IN THE CARRIAGE OF AIR MAIL ON ITS INTERNATIONAL ROUTES FROM MARCH FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY TO MARCH THIRTY-FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. The sum of three million one hundred eighty-seven thousand five hundred eighty-three pesos and twenty-five centavos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to enable the Bureau of Posts to settle completely the outstanding balance of its obligation to Philippine Air Lines, Inc., for services rendered by the latter in connection with the carriage of air mail on its international routes from March first, nineteen hundred and fifty to March thirty-first, nineteen hundred and fifty-four: Provided, That no further obligation of this nature shall be hereafter incurred without Previous Congressional authority. SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, June 9, 1954.
