[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7861, January 21, 1995 ]

AN ACT SEPARATING THE MAGUINDANAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DATU PIANG, PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO, FROM THE MAGUINDANAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAGANOY, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE DATU PIANG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Maguindanao National High School Annex in the Municipality of Datu Piang, Province of Maguindanao, is hereby separated from the Maguindanao National High School, located in the Municipality of Maganoy, and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Datu Piang National High School.SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) shall implement this Act upon its approval.SEC. 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Maguindanao National High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Datu Piang National High School.SEC. 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Maguindanao National High School in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved,
