AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST THIRTY-FIRST OF EACH YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES TO COMMEMORATE THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF FORMER PRESIDENT RAMON MAGSAYSAY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. In order to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President Ramon Magsaysay, August Thirty-first of each year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in the Province of Zambales.SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.Lapsed into law on August 8, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
