AN ACT SEPARATING THE CALAMBA ANNEX HIGH SCHOOL SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALAMBA, FROM THE LOOC NATIONALIZED HIGH SCHOOL SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL, INTO A SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CALAMBA NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Calamba Annex High School situated in the Municipality or Calamba is hereby separated from the Looc Nationalized High School situated in the Municipality of Plaridel, independently, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, and be known as the Calamba National Comprehensive High School.SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Lapsed into law on June 30, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
