[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6845, January 20, 1990 ]
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF DON MARIANO MARCOS, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL, TO MUNICIPALITY OF DON VICTORIANO
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Don Mariano Marcos, Province of Misamis Occidental, is hereby changed to Municipality of Don Victoriano.SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.Approved,

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 21, 1989 and September 22, 1989, respectively.
