[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6465, June 17, 1972 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTER OF DEEDS FOR THE THIRD REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL WITH PERMANENT OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HIMAMAYLAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. There is hereby established the Office of the Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental with permanent office in the Municipality of Himamaylan, Province of Negros Occidental, .which shall perform all the duties and functions of the Register of Deeds exclusively for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental.SEC. 2. The Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District of Negros Occidental shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Secretary of JusticeSEC. 3. The Register of Deeds for Bacolod City shall immediately transfer and turn over to the Register of Deeds for the Third Representative District all document pertaining to properties and transactions within the said district.SEC. 4. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said office during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one.  Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.  Enacted without executive approval, June 17, 1972.
