[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6256, June 19, 1971 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FRESH WATER FISH NURSERY AND DEMONSTRATION FARM AT THE MOUNTAIN STATE AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE RESERVATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA TRINIDAD, PROVINCE OF BENGUET, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. There shall be established and maintained, under the supervision of the Commissioner of Fisheries, a fresh-water fish nursery and demonstration farm at the Mountain State Agricultural College reservation in the Municipality of La Trinidad, Province of Benguet.SEC. 2. The President of the Philippines shall set aside, segregate and release from the Mountain State Agricultural College reservation an area of five hectares for the establishment of said farm.SEC. 3. The sum of ten thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, in addition to whatever sums may be available for this purpose under Republic Act Numbered Forty-six hundred forty, to carry into effect the purposes of this Act during  fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred seventy-two.  Thereafter, the amount of not less than fifty thousand pesos needed for the maintenance and operation of the said farm shall be included in the General Appropriations Act each year.SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 19, 1971.
