[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6123, September 04, 1969 ]
AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY HUNDRED (RE FRANCHISE FOR RADIOTELEPHONE SYSTEM GRANTED TO C. ALCANTARA & SONS )
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The title of Republic Act Numbered Thirty hundred is hereby amended to read as follows:
"An Act granting C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate private fixed point-to-point, ship, or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge, and ship or launch to barge or launch or barge to ship radiotelephone stations for the transmission and reception of wireless messages to and from said stations."
SEC. 2. Section one of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The C. Alcantara & Sons, Inc., a one hundred per cent Filipino corporation with main office at Alsons Wood Processing Integrated Complex, Room 7, Lanang, Davao City, its successors or assigns, is hereby granted a temporary permit to establish, maintain and operate private fixed point- to-point, ship or barge to shore and shore to ship or barge, and ship or launch to barge or launch or barge to ship radiotelephone stations in Davao City, and in other parts of the Philippines where it maintains or may hereafter maintain offices or establishments for the operation of its logging and sawmill business, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications, for the transmission and reception of wireless messages to and from stations, including its vehicles and boats."
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Enacted without Executive approval. August 4, 1969.
