[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4884, June 17, 1967 ]
AN ACT DECLARING THE BARLIG RICE TERRACES IN MOUNTAIN PROVINCE A TOURIST SPOT, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Barlig rice terraces in Mountain Province are hereby declared as a tourist spot.SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be spent by the Board of Travel and Tourist Industry for the development of the Barlig rice terraces into a tourist spot.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 17, 1967.
