AN ACT TO ESTABLISH, ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN ONE NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to establish, organize and maintain one National Agricultural School in the Province of Iloilo of the Central Luzon Agricultural School type.SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to locate and acquire or cause to be located and acquired a suitable site for the purpose of this Act, which may be public or private lands situated within the Province of Iloilo.SEC. 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos for its establishment and operation and maintenance during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and fifty is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, the necessary appropriation for its maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 10, 1950.
