[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 457, June 08, 1950 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE REGISTERS OF DEEDS OF THE PROVINCES OF ALBAY, CAMARINES SUR AND NEGROS ORIENTAL BE THE EX OFFICIO REGISTERS OF DEEDS FOR THE CITIES OF LEGASPI, NAGA, AND DUMAGUETE, RESPECTIVELY, WHILE SAID CITIES CONTINUE TO BE THE CAPITALS OF SAID PROVINCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and. House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. Any provision of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, the registers of deeds of the Provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur and Negros Oriental shall be ex officio registers of deeds for the Cities of Legaspi, Naga and Dumaguete, respectively, while said cities continue to be the capitals of said provinces.SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 8, 1950.
