[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4237, June 19, 1965 ]
AN ACT CREATING THE POSITIONS OF TWO ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEYS FOR OZAMIZ CITY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION TWENTY-FOUR OF THE CHARTER OF SAID CITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section twenty-four of Republic Act Numbered Three hundred twenty-one, otherwise known as the Charter of Ozamiz City, is amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 24. The City Attorney — his assistants — his powers and duties. — The Law Department shall consist of the city attorney who shall be the chief legal adviser of the city and two assistant city attorneys. The city attorney shall receive a salary of five thousand one hundred pesos per annum and the two assistant city attorneys, four thousand two hundred pesos each per annum. The city attorney shall have the following powers and duties:"
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 19, 1965.
