[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4099, June 19, 1964 ]

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BANGUI, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, TO BE KNOWN AS NORTHERN PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established nuder the super vision of the Director of Medical Services, a hospital in the Municipality of Bangui, Province of Ilocos Norte be known as Northern Provincial Hospital.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall issue such rules and regulation as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
