[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3867, June 12, 1964 ]
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO HOLD ANNUALLY A LOTTERY OR SWEEPSTAKES FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS BLOOD BANK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:Section 1. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold annually a lottery or sweepstakes, the whole proceeds of which shall, after deducting the prizes and expenses as provided for in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the Philippine National Red Cross Blood Bank for its expansion and for its blood typing project.Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 12, 1964.
