AN ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF SUGBONGCOGON IN THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The barrios of Sugbongcogon, Kaulayanon, Kidampas, Silad, Alicomohan and Mabini are hereby separated from the Municipality of Kinoguitan, Province of Misamis Oriental, and constituted into a new municipality to be known as the Municipality of Sugbongcogon, with the seat of the municipal government at the present site of the barrio of Sugbongcogon.SEC. 2.          SEC. 3. The first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the said municipality shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of the Commission on Appointments and shall continue in office until their successors shall have been elected and shall have qualified in the next general election for local officials.SEC. 4.
