[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3521, June 20, 1963 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE ILOILO NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES AT BAROTAC NUEVO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A REGIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES TO BE KNOWN AS THE ILOILO REGIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Iloilo National School of Fisheries located at Barotac Nuevo, Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a regional school of fisheries to be known as the Iloilo Regional School of Fisheries to offer a four-year teacher-education curriculum in fisheries in addition to the courses now offered.SEC. 2. The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four.  Thereafter, the necessary sum for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 20, 1963.
