[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2623, May 06, 1960 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE NAME OF THE STREET WHICH CONNECTS THE CAPITOL GROUNDS AND THE INTERSECTION OF JUAN LUNA AND SANCIANGKO STREETS IN THE CITY OF CEBU SHALL CONTINUE TO BE JONES AVENUE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. Any provision of law or ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding and until otherwise expressly changed by law, the name of the street which connects the Capitol grounds and the intersection of Juan Luna and Sanciangko streets in the City of Cebu shall continue to be Jones Avenue.SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on March 21, 1960.Approved, May 6, 1960.
