[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2398, June 21, 1959 ]

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE SANCHEZ MIRA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANCHEZ MIRA, THE ITAWES HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUAO, AND THE ABULOG HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ABULOG, ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, INTO NATIONAL RURAL AND VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS TO BE KNOWN, RESPECTIVELY, AS THE SANCHEZ MIRA NATIONAL RURAL AND VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, THE ITAWES NATIONAL RURAL AND VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND THE ABULOG NATIONAL RURAL AND VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Sanchez Mira High School located in Municipality of Sanchez Mira, the Itawes High School located in the Municipality of Tuao, and the Abulog High School located in the Municipality of Abulog, all the Province of Cagayan, are hereby converted into national rural and vocational high schools to be respectively known as the Sanchez Mira National Rural and Vocational High School, the Itawes National Rural and Vocational High School, and the Abulog National Rural and Vocational High School. The Director of Public Schools is empowered to reorganize said schools accordingly.SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of these rural and vocational high schools.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon the date the funds authorized herein to be appropriated shall have been provided for.Enacted without executive approval, June 21, 1959.
