[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10613, August 28, 2013 ]
AN ACT INCREASING THE MINIMUM BED CAPACITY OF THE ZAMBOANGA CITY MEDICAL CENTER FROM TWO HUNDRED FIFTY (250) TO FIVE HUNDRED (500), AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION 2 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7272
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Republic Act No. 7272 is hereby amended to read as follows:
“SEC. 2. The Medical Center shall serve as the principal hospital facility of Region IX. It shall have an increase in the bed capacity from two hundred fifty (250) to five hundred (500). The increase in bed capacity shall be implemented for a period of not more than three (3) years from the approval of this Act.”
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department’s programs the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
