AN ACT TO AMEND COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY-NINE ENTITLED "AN ACT APPROPRIATING EIGHT MILLION ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR PUBLIC WORKS."

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:SECTION 1. The following items of appropriation under section two, subsection A, paragraph (a), of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and sixty-nine are amended so as to read as follows:x x x (Items omitted) x x xSEC. 2. The following items under section 2, subsection A, paragraph (a) of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and sixty-nine are supressed:Items )8, 39, 40, 41, and 42 under Cagayan ; Item 44 under Laguna ;Item 17 under Nueva Ecija ;Items 105, 106, and 107 under Pangasinan;Item 11 under Tarlac; and Item 1 under Zambales.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, October 27, 1939.
