AN ACT CONVERTING THE WENCESLAO TRINIDAD MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAUREL, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS WENCESLAO TRINIDAD MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The Wenceslao Trinidad Memorial High School in the Municipality of Laurel, Province of Batangas, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Wenceslao Trinidad Memorial National High School, which shall be under the supervision of the Bureau of Secondary Education.

SEC. 2. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local govern­ment unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
