AN ACT CONVERTING THE SOLSONA MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOLSONA, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SOLSONA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The Solsona Municipal High School in the Municipality of Solsona, Province of Ilocos Norte, is converted into a national high school, to be known as the Solsona National High School.

SEC 2. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
