AN ACT CONVERTING SAN JOSE CITY HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN JOSE CITY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The San Jose City High School located in the City of San Jose, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the San Jose City National High School.

SEC. 2. The Ministry of Education and Culture is hereby directed to take steps as are necessary for the conversion, operation and immediate implementation of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
