AN ACT CONVERTING THE OTON HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF OTON, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE OTON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The Oton High School in the Municipality of Oton , Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Oton National High School. It shall offer, in addition to the general secondary curriculum, vocational curriculum and other technological courses.

SEC. 2. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
