AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL UPON REQUEST OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE OR THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OR ANY DEPARTMENT HEAD, TO UTILIZE A PART OF THE FUND APPROPRIATED IN ACT NUMBERED THIRTY FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE, ENTITLED "AN ACT AUTHORIZING A STANDING APPROPRIATON OF TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS PER ANNUM FOR TECHNICAL PERSONNEL AND CIVILIAN ASSISTANTS IN THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," FOR THE PAYMENTOF THE SALARIES, TRAVEL AND OTHER OFFICIAL EXPENSES OF SUCH TECHNICAL ADVISERS OR ASSISTANTS AS THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL MAY APPOINT AND ASSIGN OR DETAIL TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE OR THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OR ANY DEPARTMENT HEAD OR TO ANY BUREAU OR OFFICE UNDER HIS JURISDICTION.

[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4006, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING BAROTAC NUEVO HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAROTAC NUEVO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS BAROTAC NUEVO GENERAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The Barotac Nuevo High School is hereby converted into a  national high school to be known as Barotac Nuevo General Comprehensive    High School. Comprehensive curriculum which includes academic, industrial arts and handicraft courses shall be offered. The Secretary   of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school accordingly.SEC. 2. Upon organization of Barotac Nuevo General Comprehensive High  School, the assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of  Barotac Nuevo High School shall stand transferred to this new national high school.SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the operation and maintenance of said school in addition to its matriculation and tuition fees, and other revenues.SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, June 18, 1964.
