[ Act No. 3773, November 28, 1930 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION SEVEN OF ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND AND FIFTY, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE ANNUAL PENSIONS FOR TEACHERS EMPLOYED IN THE PHILIPPINE PUBLIC SCHOOLS; TO APPROPRIATE MONEY AND REGULATE THE DISBURSEMENT THEREOF."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:SECTION 1. Section seven of Act Numbered Three thousand and fifty is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 7. In computing the length of service for the purposes of this Act, all periods of separation from the service and so much of any leave as is without pay, except leave granted to teacher-pensionados attending insular schools or schools or colleges in the United States, whose appointments had been authorized or may hereafter be authorized by the Philippine Legislature, and regular school vacation periods for classroom teachers with temporary civil service status, shall be excluded."

SEC. 2. All acts or parts of any act inconsistent with the Repealing clause, provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved, November 28, 1930.
