[ Act No. 3677, August 09, 1930 ]

AN ACT AMENDING CERTAIN ITEMS OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT, MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE GENERAL APPROPRIATION ACT FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:SECTION 1. Item 1, subsection DD, section one of Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred and thirty-eight, more commonly known as the General Appropriation Act for the year nineteen hundred and thirty, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"1. One Director, with quarters at Singalong Experiment Station, the provisions of Act Numbered Two thousand five hundred eighty-nine, as amended, to the contrary notwithstanding

P7,200.00

SEC. 2. Item 201, subsection DD, section one of the same Act is also hereby amended to read as follows:

"201. Organization of scouting parties to locate and fight locusts, Act Numbered Three thousand one hundred sixty-three, and to control and eradicate other agricultural pests and diseases	P100,000.00
"201-a. For the campaign to control and eradicate the leaf miner and other coconut pests and diseases	400,000.00"

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect as of January first, nineteen hundred and thirty.Approved, August 9, 1930.
