[ Act No. 3416, December 07, 1927 ]

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF SAN MARIANO, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, AS A REGULAR MUNICIPALITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. The municipal district of San Mariano, Province of Isabela, shall be converted into a regular municipality governed by the provisions of chapter fifty-seven of the Administrative Code.

SEC. 2. Upon the approval of this Act, the present president, vice-president, and councilors of said district shall continue in office until their successors shall be duly elected  in the general election of nineteen hundred and twenty-eight.

SEC. 3. The municipal district of San Mariano hereby converted into a regular municipality shall retain the name of San Mariano and have the same territory and boundaries as heretofore.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
