AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION TWENTY-TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN, AUTHORIZING MUNICIPAL COUNCILS TO ISSUE PERMITS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OR REPAIR OF BUILDINGS AND CHARGE A FEE FOR ISSUING SUCH PERMITS
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:SECTION 1. Subsection (c) of section twenty-two hundred and forty-three of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(c) To establish fire limits in populous centers, prescribe the kinds of buildings that may be constructed or repaired within them, and issue permits for the erection or repair thereof, charging a fee which shall be determined by the municipal council and which shall not be less than two pesos for each building permit and one peso for each repair permit issued. The fees collected under the provisions of this subsection shall accrue to the municipal school fund."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.Approved, December 5, 1925.
