AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO GRANT TO THE AUTHORITIES OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY IN THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS THE PRIVILEGE OF USING THE CURRENT OF THE BUED RIVER FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A HYDROELECTRIC PLANT AND A PUMPING STATION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

By authority of theĀ  United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:SECTION 1. The Governor-General is hereby authorized and empowered to grant to the authorities of the United States Army in the Philippine Islands, the privilege of the use of the waters of the Bued River at a point to be by him determined, and such right of way over the public domain as may be necessary, for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a hydroelectric light plant or establishment, and a pumping station for the use of the military reservation known as Camp John Hay, and for such other uses as may be approved by the Governor-General.SEC. 2. The privilege and concession authorized in the preceding section to be granted, may be granted upon such conditions and with such limitations and restrictions as to exclusiveness of use, length of period, and right of way for carrying the power generated as the Governor-General may deem just or necessary.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its passage.Enacted, March 4, 1913.
