AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF BAGUIO TOWN SITE AND BENGUET ROAD AND THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BENGUET AUTOMOBILE LINE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE THIRTIETH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:SECTION 1. The following sum. or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to lie expended in the discretion of the Secretary of Commerce and Police, for the improvement and maintenance of Baguio town site and Benguet Road and the operation and maintenance of the Benguet Automobile line, and for other purposes, for the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and thirteen, as follows:

BUREAU   OF   PUBLIC WORKS.Improvements.—For the purchase of additional motor transportation; for the improvement and extension of the telephone service; for the improvement of the sewerage system; for the purchase of equipment for fire protection.Maintenance.—For the Benguet Road; for the maintenance and care of Government Center buildings and grounds, including cottages and Mansion House and for miscellaneous expenses of administration of the Bureau of Public Works.Operation.—For the regulation and. safeguarding of traffic on    operation, the Benguet Road.    In all, two hundred and seventy-six thousand pesos.

SEC. 2. This Act shall effect on July first, nineteen hundred and twelve.Enacted, June 18, 1912.
