AN ACT AMENDING SECTION (I) OF SECTION FORTY OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:SECTION 1. Subsection (i) of section forty of the Municipal Code be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"(i) To license, tax, regulate, or prohibit the keeping of dogs and authorize the killing of the same when at large contrary to ordinance; to require owners of large cattle, sheep and goats to keep such animals from moving, running, or being at large except when in charge of some person of sufficient discretion, and to penalize infractions of such regulations by fine or imprisonment or both."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the same shall take effect on its passage, in accordance with the provisions of section one of Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and forty-five of the Philippine Legislature.Enacted, February 6, 1912.
