AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY OF ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY, ENTITLED "AN ACT PROVIDING FOR A CODE OF PROCEDURE IN CIVIL ACTIONS AND SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS IN THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS," BY SAFEGUARDING MORE EFFICIENTLY THE AUTHENTICITY OF WILLS.
By authority of the United States, he it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:SECTION 1. Section six hundred and twenty of Act Numbered One hundred and ninety, entitled "An Act providing for a Code of Procedure in Civil Actions and Special Proceedings in the Philippine Islands," is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 620. Who are competent witnesses.—Any person of sound mind and of the age of eighteen years or more, and not blind, deal', or dumb, and able to read and write, may be a witness to the execution of a will."
