AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND SEVEN, KNOWN AS "THE REORGANIZATION ACT," AS AMENDED, BY TRANSFERRING THE BUREAU OF AGRICULTURE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:SECTION 1. Section twenty-nine of Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and seven, entitled "The Reorganization Act," as amended, is herein amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 29. The Department of the Interior shall have under its Department of the executive control and supervision the Bureau of Health, the Bureau of Lands, the Bureau of Science, the Bureau of Forestry, the Bureau of Quarantine Service, and the Weather Bureau. It shall have general supervision of non-Christian tribes, except those of the Moro Province, and of fisheries.''
SEC. 2. Section thirty-two of said Act, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 32. The Department of Public Instruction shall have under its executive control and supervision the Bureau of Education, the Bureau of Agriculture, the Bureau of Supply, the Bureau of Prisons, and the Bureau of Printing. It shall have general supervision of public charities not under the supervision of the Secretary of the Interior at the time of the passage of this Act, and of museums."
SEC. 3. The funds made available for the Bureau of Agriculture under the Department of the Interior shall be understood to be available for said Bureau under the Department of Public Instruction.Enacted, April 11, 1910.
