PROCLAMATION NO. 909

AUTHORIZING THE PRESS PHOTOGRAPHERS OF THE PHILIPPINES, (PPP), TO CONDUCT A FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 1971 TO JUNE 30, 1972.

WHEREAS, the Press Photographers of the Philippines has contributed in a large measure to the progress of mass media in this country;

WHEREAS, press photographers render invaluable services to the Filipino people and the country as a whole through their documentation of news and events;

WHEREAS, the Press Photographers of the Philippines needs financial assistance to pursue its objectives of upgrading the photo-journalism profession;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Press Photographers of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from October 1, 1971 to June 30, 1972.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-one.
