PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 159
PURSUANT TO PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 140, XEROX AND OTHER SIMILAR COPYING MACHINES SHOULD BE REGISTERED WITH THE PC AND NBI WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) DAYS THE SAID PERIOD BE EXTENDED TO GIVE THOSE CONCERNED ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLY WITH THE SAID DECREE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 140 dated March 2, 1973 xerox and other similar copying machines should be registered with the Philippine Constabulary of the National Bureau of Investigation within a period of fifteen (15) days from the promulgation thereof;
WHEREAS, it is necessary that said period be extended to give all those concerned sufficient time to comply with said Decree:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, pursuant to Proclamations No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972 and No. 1104, dated January 17, 1973, and in my capacity as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, do hereby order and decree that the registration of xerox and other similar copying machines or equipment as prescribed by Presidential Decree No. 140, dated March 2, 1973 is extended until April 15, 1973.
The Chief of Constabulary and the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation may promulgate additional rules and regulations necessary to implement this Decree.
Done in the City of Manila, this 18th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
