PROCLAMATION NO. 715

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 1970, AS A SPECIAL
PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 1, 1970, marks the third anniversary of the charter of Davao del Norte; and

WHEREAS, the people of the province should be afforded the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PONCIANO G. A. MATHAY, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 1, 1970, as a special public holiday in Davao del Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy.
