BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 676

DECLARING THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.

WHEREAS, Thursday, April 2, 1970, marks the anniversary of the birth of Francisco Balagtas, Prince of Filipino poets; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bulacan, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, April 2, 1970, as a special public holiday in the province of Bulacan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 1st day of April, in the year, of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy.
