PROCLAMATION NO. 654

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU

WHEREAS, the oath-taking of the President will take place in the City of Cebu on June 30, 2004; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that he people of the City of Cebu be given full opportunity to participate in this momentous and historic occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, June 30, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Cebu.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 25th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Four.
