PROCLAMATION NO. 488

DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2003, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN PASAY CITY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, December 2, 2003, marks the 140th Foundation Day anniversary of Pasay City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Pasay City be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, December 2, 2003, as special (non-working) day in Pasay City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 16th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Three.
