BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 2098

DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 14, 1981, AS “ARAW NG KABANATUAN.”

WHEREAS, Tuesday, July 14, 1981, marks the two hundred and fourth anniversary of the founding of Cabanatuan City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of said city desire to celebrate the event with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 14, 1981, as “Araw ng Kabanatuan.”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
