PROCLAMATION NO. 1574

DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO

WHEREAS, the City of Tuguegarao marks the patronal feast dubbed as “Pavvurulun Festival 2008” on August 16, 2008;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Tuguegarao celebrate the occasion, the 4th City Council requested that Friday, August 15, 2008 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of August 16. 2008, which falls on a Saturday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, August 15, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Tuguegarao.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
