PROCLAMATION NO. 147

DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF VALENZUELA

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 14, 2002, marks the 4th Charter Day Anniversary of the city of Valenzuela;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Valenzuela be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, February 14, 2002, as a special non-working day in the City of Valenzuela.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of January, in the year of Our Lord, two thousand and two.
