PROCLAMATION NO. 117

DECLARING NOVEMBER 14, 2001, AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, General Gregorio Del Pilar is one of our revered Filipino heroes who dedicated his life to the cause of freedom;

WHEREAS, November 14 marks the birth anniversary of General Gregorio Del Pilar;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of Bulacan be given the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare November 14, 2001, and every year thereafter as a special working holiday in the Province of Bulacan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
