ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to remove from the provincial governments the supervision and control over provincial and sub-provincial jails and place them with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to avoid confusion as to which government agency should be held responsible for the improvement of these jails and the discipline of its jail personnel. |

Abstract
