| ABSTRACT : The Institute shall develop, in coordination with appropriate government and non-government agencies, a national corn research program so as to sustain and develop corn production, improve the income and economic condition of corn farmers, expand employment opportunities in the rural areas, and promote the general welfare of the people through self-sufficienc y in corn production. |
