| ABSTRACT : "National Heritage Act of 2004". The Philippines is blessed with rich resources and heritage. However, the government's efforts to forestall the deterioration of our heritage has proven inadequate. This bill seeks to protect, preserve, conserve and promote the nation's cultural heritage, its properties and its histories. It also proposes the creation of the National Heritage Commission, which shall be tasked to promulgate rules and regulations pertaining to the conservation of our heritage, among others. |
