SHORT TITLE : Magna Carta for the Informal Sector | |
ABSTRACT : "Magna Carta for the Informal Sector". "Informal sector" refers to a specific sector in the economy where most of the participants are categorized as "unregistered, undocumented, untaxed, uninsured, disorganized and doing irregular economic activities". The informal sector comprises almost half of the country's total workforce. The proposed Code seeks to introduce an integrated, holistic and comprehensive policy instrument which shall serve as the springboard for the informal sector to join the mainstream of the Philippine economy. | |

Abstract
"Magna Carta for the Informal Sector". "Informal sector" refers to a specific sector in the economy where most of the participants are categorized as "unregistered, undocumented, untaxed, uninsured, disorganized and doing irregular economic activities".
